Mortgage rates edged higher in the latest week due in part to declining Bond prices. Oil prices are at their highest level since late 2014 after top exporter Saudi Arabia said it would be happy to see crude rise to $80 or even $100 while a recent report this week revealed that U.S. crude oil supplies have declined.
